Weeping rock stream and More Angels Landing

The kids climbing the walls by weeping rock and Mila by the stream.            Hector and Doug hiked Angels Landing one day and Cindy and I went the next.  We can't wait to go again!  The last picture is a view of Angels Landing from the bottom where we start the hike.  Can you believe we made it to the top.  A few people have died because they were not prepared or not careful but we hung on to those chains for dear life.  We now know why they say it is a treacherous hike.

Angels Landing Hike Zion National Park

ZION National Park is our favorite place to camp and be at one with nature.  Hiking Angels Landing was one of the most spiritual experiences of my life.  A little scary but definitely worth it!  we felt so proud when we made it to the top and what a gorgeous view.

Zion National Park

The kids had so much fun playing in the river at Zion.  It was very muddy and the current was very strong because there had been some very heavy flash floods  a couple of days before we got there that had even flooded some of the homes just outside in Springdale.  Late July and August commonly have lots of rain in Southern Utah but it had all cleared for the week we were there.  My kids loved the mud.
